I'm becoming southern, y'all!

Moving only slightly north of the Mason-Dixon line nearly eight years ago, I was concerned that I might lose my "northernness."  However, as the years have gone by I've been less and less opposed to becoming southern.  The last couple months I've even begun to say "y'all" without a second thought.  Going to North Dakota for a couple weeks recently did not stop anything.  It's beginning to get serious, folks.

Yesterday, I made fried chicken.

As in, chicken-pieces-dredged-in-flour-and-spices-and-pan-fried-in-hot-oil fried chicken.  I'm not usually a fan of fried chicken (barring Chick-fil-a), but this was pretty good.  To top the southernness all off, David made biscuits.  He told me his Julia Child biscuits were better than my Martha Stewart fried chicken.  Going by author's credentials alone, I have to agree.
